Basic use, fast setup

Needed a shared inbox. SupportBee set up quickly. Ticket assignment works fine. It does what it needs to do. No issues so far.

Good value on annual plan

I was looking for an affordable customer support solution and SupportBee caught my eye. The 14-day free trial let us test everything out thoroughly. We opted for the annual billing to get the 13% off, which felt like a solid deal. The features like the customer portal and knowledge base software are exactly what we needed without breaking the bank. It feels like we got a lot of bang for our buck, definitely worth the investment for a budget-conscious team like ours.

Easy to use, happy team

So we needed something for all our customer emails, and SupportBee popped up. It's really straightforward to use, like, even folks not super techy got the hang of the shared email ticketing fast. Our team likes it a lot more than our old system. It just makes things easier to track. Definitely a good move for us.

Good for team emails

We just started using the Collaborative Team Inbox feature at work, and it's been pretty smooth. Setting it up with our existing emails was easier than I thought. It really helped us cut down on internal emails trying to figure out who was handling what. It's not perfect, took a day or two to get everyone on board, but overall a solid improvement.

Consistent, but small price jump

I've been using SupportBee for a couple of years now, mostly for their Team Collaboration Tools and Customer Service Analytics. This latest renewal was as reliable as ever; the data export tools are always a lifesaver for our quarterly reports. However, I did notice a slight price increase compared to last year's annual plan. It's still a good value for what we get, and the consistency of the service means we'll keep coming back, but that little bump was a bit unexpected.

Decent shared inbox

Signed up for the Shared Email Ticketing. It works well. Simple interface. Mobile app could be snappier.

Good features, some setup quirks

We started using SupportBee for our shared email ticketing system and it's been mostly positive. The collaborative team inbox is really helpful for keeping everyone on the same page, and the internal discussion threads cut down on a lot of back-and-forth emails. Setting up the multi-brand support was a bit more involved than I expected, with some fiddly DNS settings needed. Customer service was responsive when I had questions about that, which was good. The pricing for annual billing gave us a decent discount, so it felt like good value overall, but the initial setup could be smoother.

Good for team emails

We just started using the Collaborative Team Inbox last month, and it's been pretty smooth. Everyone on the team can see what's going on, and we're not stepping on each other's toes anymore. Setup took a bit longer than I thought, but once it was running, it was easy.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows about a free trial for SupportBee? Want to test it out before committing.

L Lisa Garcia 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! I signed up for a 14-day free trial last month. No credit card needed which was nice.

M Megan L. 1 month ago
Can confirm the free trial. It's pretty full-featured too, not some stripped-down version. Gave us enough time to kick the tires properly.

Is SupportBee actually good for bigger companies, like with hundreds of agents? Or is it more for startups?

C Carol Young 4 weeks ago
We're not 'hundreds' big, but we have about 50 agents and it handles everything fine. The user roles and permissions are really flexible.

S Susan S. 4 weeks ago
I've seen some pretty large companies use it, especially if their main support channel is email. It scales well with the multi-brand and team features.

What happens after the trial ends if I don't sign up? Does it just like, stop working?

R Rachel A. 1 month ago
Pretty much. Your account goes into a suspended state. You won't lose your data immediately, but you can't access it until you pick a plan.

P Patricia 1 month ago
Yeah, it just locks you out until you subscribe. They usually send a few reminders before it happens, so you won't be caught off guard.

anyone got a promo code for SupportBee? hoping to save a bit on a new subscription.

A Andrew 3 weeks ago
Promos are pretty rare, afaik. I just went with the annual plan for the discount. That's usually the best deal you'll find.

J Jeff L. 2 weeks ago
They do sometimes have seasonal sales, like around Cyber Monday. Other than that, the annual billing or a non-profit discount if you qualify are your best bets. Don't expect coupon codes much.

Just checking, does SupportBee have an app for phones? Need to be able to check tickets on the go sometimes.

J Joseph Nguyen 1 month ago
Yep, there's a mobile app! I use it on my iPhone, works perfectly for quick replies or assigning tickets when I'm out of the office.
6
M Melissa R. 1 month ago
Yeah, they have one. It's not as robust as the desktop version obviously, but for checking in and basic tasks, it's totally usable.

Thinking of switching from Zendesk to SupportBee. Has anyone here made that jump? How does it compare feature-wise, especially for collaboration?

A Abigail J. 1 month ago
I moved from Zendesk last year. SupportBee feels way less clunky for shared inboxes, honestly. Zendesk had too much going on for us. The internal notes in SB are super easy to use.

W William Martinez 4 weeks ago
For collaboration, I actually prefer Front to both of them. But if you're stuck between ZD and SB, SupportBee is definitely cleaner for team stuff. Zendesk is just a beast.

Thinking of switching from Zendesk to SupportBee. How do they stack up, especially for a small team doing mostly email support?

M Mary W. 1 month ago
We moved from Zendesk actually! For email, SupportBee feels much less clunky. Zendesk just had too much going on for what we needed. SupportBee is cleaner.

S Sean J. 1 month ago
Totally depends on your needs. If you're heavy into automation and tons of channels, Zendesk might still be better. But for shared inbox stuff and collaboration, I think SupportBee wins for simplicity.

Hey guys, looking at SupportBee for my small e-commerce shop. We're a team of 3. Is the pricing per person or per shared inbox? Just trying to figure out the actual cost.

R Rachel A. 1 month ago
It's per agent, so per person. I think most of these ticketing systems do that.
6
M Megan Smith 1 month ago
Yeah, it's definitely per agent. My team is 5, and we pay for all 5. But you can often get a discount if you pay annually, like they give you a couple months free basically.
